I hate it when that happens. Obviously my decision to house a tres leches parfait and half bottle of wine last night was ill advised. Whoopsie. I was in a weak place and after successfully installing a tiled backsplash (and using a wet saw, thank you very much) I was in full blown MAMMANEEDSAGODDAMNTREAT mode. Unfortunately, the treats I keep choosing give me zits and mood swings, so I need to manage this a little differently. The satiating effects of a tres leches parfait and many glasses of red wine will be hard to replicate, but maybe I can get close?
What's your favorite MAMMANEEDSAGODDAMNTREAT treat that doesn't destroy your sandcastle of healthy eating? I need suggestions...

Hmmm... the Alhambra? a purple magical parade that has something to do with Arabic? Somewhere in Central or South America? I have no idea... perhaps an island off New Zealand? Again, no idea... but the Swiss like clocks, so maybe Swizerland? and finally... Scotland? Enlighten us where these beautiful places are!

As for treats...
The pumpkin gingerbread cake recipe on my blog has been updated and, if I may be so bold, perfected. It's made from almond butter, pumpkin, and a little honey -- very satisfying, tastes rich, no poison. Also, how 'bout fruit topped with whipped "cream" made from coconut milk -- also taste totally decadent, but won't bring down the house of cards.
