10.75 inches, 9lbs, 3.7% body fat, WOD time 10:58

Oh my god.

Holy shit.

Wow.

Eight weeks of mostly perfect eating and exercising no more than 45 minutes 5 days a week has brought me not only amazing weight loss results BUT this is how strong I have become:

Push ups on the toes
Lowest resistance band for pull ups (sooo close to unassisted and multiple kipps)
400m run much faster
12kg kb, close to moving up to the 16kg
BOX JUMPS GALORE!!!
100 Burpees done!
Wall Ball up to 14lbs!
OH Squat at 45# and confident!
....not to mention a long list of other smaller accomplishments....

Eight weeks ago I posted after the first time we went through the I AM CROSSFIT workout. It killed me. I didn't finish and I had a terrible attitude half way through the first round. That little voice inside that tells me no way are you going to finish this was loud as shit, I couldn't hear anything else. The biggest victory for me here today is that little voice didn't make a peep this morning. I had more confidence in myself than I have ever had in my life and I owe it all to my discipline and determination to move to the next step.... I KILLED that workout today. KILLED IT instead of IT KILLING ME.

IAC Workout:

400m run
15 pull ups
65# hang clean
3 rounds, 12 minute time cap
--1st Round: Time called while I was on my last 400m run
--2nd Round: 10:58!!!

HOORAY!

Now that's done, what's next!?!?!

1. SIX PACK ABS BITCHES
2. Faster, stronger, harder, longer
3. Push ups, arms all the way in, elbows all the way back, and chest all the way to the ground
4. Get that body fat percentage on a downhill track closer to the 25% mark
5. Shake off those last few lbs....
6. Faster, stronger, harder, longer

faster, stronger, harder, longer

The next eight weeks are all about endurance. Now that I'm at a strength level that I can feel good about, I need to speed it up. The weather is warming up, the next challenge isn't until May....I have two months to see how much farther I can go...

Wow. This is fun.

I am also so very proud of everyone who did this challenge and I hope that all of you go to bed with smiles on your faces and pats on your back. You all did amazing and I'm so proud to call you friends.

Final Week!!!!

I can't believe how fast the last eight weeks just sped by! This coming Saturday is the I AM CROSSFIT workout, the one that caused me oh so much trouble almost eight weeks ago.

I am nervous as hell and can't wrap my brain around how quick it came around the corner.

My goals are solid. I got over my fear of box jumps, I can pump out burpees without so much as a groan (although the F-word is frequent), and I moved my weight up in the over head squat. My wall ball weight is at 14lbs, I did my first ever handstand push up (with assistance), and I'm about two inches away from completing a real kipping pull up. I am stronger than I have ever been in my entire life.

So why am I so terrified? Because if I don't finish this damn workout on Saturday, deep in the recesses of my brain, I will feel as though I failed. Eeeek!

Ok there's my confession, now onto some fun things...

My clothes don't fit at all. I found a little black skirt that my grandmother made for me when I was 16, and it fits like a charm. My belly can only be pinched not grabbed. And, most impressively, I have calf muscles forming. I never believed that my genetics could handle calf muscles. Next I'm tackling a six pack.....

Hot damn!
